Chris Dombrowski

Chris Dombrowski is the author of the poetry collection By Cold Water (Wayne State University Press), a finalist for ForeWord Magazine’s Poetry Book of the Year, and the chapbook Fragments with Dusk in Them (Punctilious Press).  Forthcoming publications include a chapbook, September Miniatures with Blood and Mars (Checker Press, 2012) and a collection, Fire’s Bride (WSUP, 2013). His poems have appeared in numerous literary journals and anthologies, including Beloit Poetry Journal, CrazyhorseDenver QuarterlyMaking Poems, New LettersPoetry, and Poetry Daily. His awards include the Associated Writing Programs’ Intro Award, Alligator Juniper’s National Poetry Prize, a Pushcart Prize Special Mention, and a writing fellowship from the UCross Foundation.  With his family he divides his time between their home in Missoula, Montana and northern Michigan, where he currently teaches creative writing at Interlochen Center for the Arts.
